Commitment Problems In Men And Their Causes

Getting committed in a relationship is a new phase or a transition. Your relationship is taken to the next level when you get committed with the guy or the girl. But this is also a crucial step for you to make the right decision, otherwise lots of problems arise and you have to spend significant amount of time, energy and money in solving those issues.

May be for this reason or not, we all see that in general, men show serious?commitment?problems. It is not easy to get one to the point! Here are some of the reasons why men are having such?commitment?problems.

History of failed relationship(s)

A?history of failed relationship?will have a long term effect on men rather than women (I am speaking by and large; there may be dreadfully many exceptions for all the cases).?A man who have had a commitment with a woman and have experienced a failure in the?same will think twice or more times before getting commitment from another relationship.

Women in this sense normally tend to forget the effects soon and?are ready and open for commitment to a new relationship (their hormones work in that way!).

Commitment due to very handsome and flirting

If a man is very handsome he has good opportunities to flirt (the same applies for a woman too). A flirting man will never be attracted to one woman. Since he has so many opportunities, it is hard to please such a man, he will always find another woman to be more attractive.

Such a man will not want to get committed to?one relationship where he has chances to enjoy life?without getting committed though he has many opportunities for commitment.

They are afraid of freedom and space issues

Some men think that getting committed means sharing space. So here comes their worry of freedom. What if I am invaded by my girlfriend who asks me to spend the whole weekend with her? What if, I have to share my apartment with her? What if I have to report my activities in live time to my girlfriend? And so on .

Commitment occurs when one have changing minds

Some men have minds that are constantly changing (or evolving or improvising). They have different set of strategies, requirements, goals and principles in life in different times. They learn, adapt, improvise and this continues.

Such men won?t be able to get committed in any approach for commitment. For them one woman cannot be special in their life, forever!

They travel/change places more for work

Men who travel a lot or change places often for study or work hesitate to get committed. They feel that they can?t keep up with the relationship at proximity for commitments. Further, they might find someone better at the new work place for commitments.

Whatsoever, sometimes they feel that there is no point in getting committed to a person at a place where they will stay only for few months.?They may further be worried about after-commitment?plans about who needs to shift place to be together or continue the relationship at a long distance and so on.

Don?t like advice

Men don?t like advice and women can?t resist giving them. Men have this great fear that their chances to living next to an advising box are 100 percent higher when getting committed.

Don?t want to be structured

While men are alone without any?commitment, they can lead a disorganized life. They can have unclean wardrobes, they can leave the leftovers on the dining table, and they can share the bed with their pets, and so on.

But when a woman comes in to picture, there comes expectations to be more organized and structured.?Especially, men who don?t?like to be?organized (accepting rules) or who can?t be organized well will seriously think about commitment with other guy/gal.

Fear of well-being after marriage (insufficient income)

Men are calculative minded persons. When there comes a thought of commitment there also comes, a thought of expenses to run a family or at least a ?live together? show. Things are not cheap when it comes to living together.

Starting from renting an apartment for a couple to purchasing furniture and groceries cost a lot. Especially, those men with nominal income will find it pressing.
